How do I get to Cumberland?
Cumberland is located 105 kilometers north of Nanaimo, 10 kilometers SW of Courtenay, and 1 kilometer west of the Inland Highway.
Getting Here
Car
Cumberland is 1.25 hours from Nanaimo, 2.5 hours from Victoria, 4 hours from Vancouver, and 6 hours from Seattle.

Ferry
Vancouver Island can be reached via B.C Ferries from Vancouver through Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo and from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. For ferry information from the mainland to Vancouver Island, please visit BC Ferries.
Airplane
You can fly from Vancouver via Harbour Air, Pacific Coastal & Central Mountain Air. From other cities in North America you can hop on a Westjet flight to Comox (just 30 minutes from race start). Click here for map from the airport. Car rentals are available at the airport.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
BC Transit: Route 2 Bus – Connects Courtenay to Cumberland. If you plan to take the bus please confirm the route will get you to race check-in on time.

Riding Fool Hostel — Located in Cumberland, the Riding Fool features newly renovated private rooms.
Camping
Village Park (Race Central) — We have a limited amount of space at Village Park (Race Central) for both tent and car/RV camping on Friday only. We will be up bright and early (5am-ish), so don’t expect a big sleep-in! Please register your party to ensure you get a spot.
Cumberland Lake Park Campground — If you’re up for camping in July, this is a great option right on Comox Lake.
